You are allowed to reinvent yourself as many times as you see fit. That someone who needed that message is me! Over the past years, I’ve made many attempts to express and bring certain ideas to fruition but found myself back & worth at the drawing board. So when the The Brunch Belle and I decided to hit the road to take our food loving talents to NYC for BlogHer Food conference, we didn’t know we were in for such an inspirational treat.
BlogHer Food is a component of BlogHer, where food content creators, influences, entrepreneurs join together to be inspired and learn throughout one-day of food focused panels discussions and interviews. This year’s BlogHer Food conference was located in Brooklyn, New York at the Berg’n. Which is a beer hall and event space. I completely had this huge auditorium conference setting in mind; so when I arrived and saw the set-up, I was pleasantly surprised to see the indoor and outdoor food scene. This preferred set-up made provided a laid-back approach to networking with other content creators, vendors and featured guest. Also, the speaker line-up included some incredible top inspiring, empowering women within culinary and TV world, such as: Gail Simmons, Ariel Fox, Kristen Tomlan, Bethenny Frankel, Marianna Velasquez, Rachel Mansfield, Christina Tosi and so many more.
Overall, the BlogHer Food conference was not only fitting to attend as my very first food conference, but it was the prefect dosage of motivation to step on gas on creating food content.
