Sweet Raspberry-Peach Nutella!!

My 1st baked item and it was only right to incorporate the oh so yummy Nutella! Okay, I’m sure you are all aware of the delicious goodness of this rich creamy chocolate hazelnut-coco infused in a jar! If you haven’t had the chance to pair Nutella with something, I’m giving you a reason to stop at your local grocer as soon as possible and try this quick dessert. Not only did my 1st baked item turned out pretty darn tasty, it was truly an amazing treat! Now, it’s your turn to give it a try. Good Luck!

Ingredients

Nutella (1 jar)
Honey (1/2 cup)
Egg (1 large, beaten)
Corn Starch (1 tablespoon)
Puff Pastry (2 pastry sheets thawed)

Brown Sugar or (white sugar)

Topping
Gelato (2 scoops)
Powdered sugar for dusting
Almonds (3 tablespoons sliced)

Fruit 
Raspberry (1 cup)
Peaches (1 cup peeled, pitted and chopped)

 

Directions

Pastry Puff
~Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
~Spread a couple tablespoons of Nutella spread onto the center of each pastry leaving 1/2 inch border around edges.

~In a medium bowl, stir together raspberry, preaches, brown sugar and cornstarch. Spoon mixture evenly on each pasty puff.
~Brush edges of pastry with beaten egg; fold pastry over and crimp edges with a fork to seal.
~Sprinkle top of pastry puff with almonds then brush honey over top.
~Place pastry puffs on baking sheet and bake for 22-25 minutes or until golden brown.

~Remove and let cool for 5 minutes, sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
